Welcome to “Mimi Inspired” located in Commerce, Georgia. A place for me to share with you my love of painting, refinishing, and restyling vintage furniture as well as home decor.  It may sound cliche but I feel a home or space should be a reflection of who you and your family are.  A place to be comfortable and lived in, while surrounded by who you love and what inspires you.

This Gorgeous 6 Piece Bedroom Suite has been a long time coming. I started it in Texas before our move to Georgia and had to give myself permission to stop working on it so I could finish packing. I’m loving the way it turned out and have even contemplated keeping it for myself. But like puppies I can’t keep them all😉 It’s been refinished in “Dixie Belle’s” “Driftwood”, “Fluff” and a bit of “Gravel Road” to bring out all the Beautiful Details. They have been sealed in a matte polycrylic for protection. The hardware features an aged “Bronze” finish. Triple Dresser measures 71″ long 31″ tall & 18.5″ deep, The mirrors add an additional 56″ to the height of the dresser, & hang separately from the wall. Chest of drawers measures 57.5″ tall, 38″ wide, 18.5″ deep. Nightstand measures 25.5″ wide, 16.5″ deep & 23″ tall. The Headboard is 61″ wide & 52.5″ tall. This will accommodate a Queen size mattress. Soffits Idea   (As Featured on Home Talk)

I was tired of the outdated look on my soffits, after scouring the web for ideas I came up with these. I love the extra space and the look.

Update to the Soffits Idea.

New White  Subway Tile added!!! I also changed out the light fixture and trimmed the counter back a bit. It was a welcome exchange of space to gain a larger entry way into the kitchen.
